We are group of Chinese cyclists inspired by Mr. Cai Lei (蔡磊), a phenomenal ALS fighter in China. 

Since he was diagnosed with ALS in 2019, Mr. Cai Lei founded the non-profit organization "AskHelpU - 渐愈互助之家", and has established the world's largest patient-centered 360-degree life cycle ALS scientific research data platform, which linked more than 15,000 patients. He initiated body donation and built China’s first pathological research sample bank. He collaborated with the BGI Group and the Supercomputing Center at the Chinese Academy of Sciences to build and analyze the large-scale gene libraries for ALS patients, which has resulted in new discoveries in the study of genetic causes. Mr. Cai Lei accelerated preclinical and clinical trials rapidly through data systems and collaboration with various stakeholders. Currently he has sponsored and directly promoted over 100 pipelines for drugs and treatments for ALS.

We are joining DalecandELA and ALS Network's Death Valley Ride to Cure ALS  in honor of Mr. Cai Lei, highlighting the importance of joined forces in face of the global health crisis by ALS.  We are committed to raising awareness and funds to support people living with ALS today and those diagnosed in the future. Together we are making a difference in the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease.
