Jose Manuel Torres, Guerito, Chepe, jmanuel, gordo, honey, grandpa, dad - whichever way you knew him, he impacted your life with his silly, quiet, patient demeanor. 

Jose lost his battle to ALS on January 7, 2024, having been diagnosed with the disease just 9 months prior. 

While his journey with the illness is one that has affected so many people, we remember our dad in his prime. Throwing peace signs up in every picture, enjoying his coffee after dinner, watering the front lawn that took him years to finally get green again. 

We honor him daily by having patience with those we love and stranger alike, being silly where we can, and remaining calm no matter the situation.
