Thank you for helping me reach my Walk to Defeat ALS® fundraising goal! I walk in honor of my father Sigifredo Morales who lost his battle to ALS in 2019. During his fight to defeat ALS my father still continued to work, guide us and support his family and friends as much as he could even with limitations he didn’t let that stop him. He continued to show us patience, strength and perseverance While telling us that it was ok to fail because if we didn’t fail then how are we to learn and better ourselves. 

He was the type of person who did his best to try and help whoever he can and if it wasn’t possible he would say “De una manera, vamos a ver como y lo aremos” which means “in any way we will find how and we’ll do it”. To him nothing was impossible, he would lose sleep just to make everything better for the ones he loved and cared for.

The Walk to Defeat ALS® is very important to me, as it raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find effective treatments and cures.
