It seems fitting that I write this on what would have been Richard’s 78th birthday and at a time when the word joy is on so many lips.
Joy was Richard’s default setting. He lifted others with his contagious laugh, his curiosity and his optimism even as he faced his most difficult challenges.
Richard was passionate about contributing to the work of the ALS Network. Please join me in support of team RiZe Up as we as we Walk and Roll to Cure ALS on December 8, 2024 in his memory.
