As you all know, Charlie Wedemeyer, my precious husband was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 30 and told he had about a year to live! Praise God, he lived 34 years!! I am hugely impressed and encouraged by all that the ALS Network is doing here in California and in Hawaii!! We understand the ravages of this horrific death sentence!! Back then, there was no support. No one to call! Few Doctors knew anything about ALS! We were blindsided and felt disconnected from life. Our lives were abruptly turned upside down
