Thank you for checking our Team page Yolie’s Yo-Yo’s out! My Mom Yolanda was diagnosed with ALS in March 2023. We are sure she felt symptoms months prior to her actual diagnosis. Her doctors were already scheduling rotator cuff surgery earlier 2023 due to her losing the ability to raise her right arm. Luckily, her Dr requested one last test, which in turn gave her the ALS diagnosis, And the heartbreaking news of MAYBE 6 months to live. Our family being heartbroken with the news, helped care for her at home and wanted to make the most out of the time she had left. We spent every weekend with her, had a family photo shoot in her front yard, & were lucky enough to take her on one last family trip to the beach in Santa Cruz. She lost her battle to ALS in July 2023.  We continue to bring awareness to this heartbreaking disease with no cure. We continue to be my Moms voice. We will never stop fighting for you Mom. We love you!
