Alyssa Jeswald Lee was a self sufficient, intelligent and fierce young woman. She was a champion for marginalized communities, the great outdoors, and a veracious reader. Our family's first walk was in 2018, the year the oldest daughter and sister in our family was diagnosed with ALS at the young age of 27. Alyssa passed away on November 7th, 2022. Team JeswaldLee continues to walk in her honor to raise awareness and funding for this horrific and degenerative disease that took her from us. By continuing to raise money and awareness for this disease, we hope that finding a cure for ALS is close. Anything and everything will help and if you aren't able to donate, please take the time to inform yourselves on how this disease can affect a family, friend, and loved ones.
