Almost 7 years and Danielson is still and will always be missed. Danny went home to Heaven on November 15, 2017, and at times it seems like yesterday. The only difference, now we can smile at those memories we shared, and the tears have become less. The girls and I are still treading through life, but we are doing it. I look at my girls all the time and realize how blessed I am to have them.

We would do anything to get Danielson back, but unfortunately it is not in our control.

What we CAN control is continuing to do our best in making a difference. We strive and pray that one day a cure will be found.

Please join us on Sunday, October 20 as we will walk together and remember Danny and others who have lost their battle with ALS.  We continue to walk with those who are currently battling ALS and praying for that cure. This fight cannot be done alone, we are counting on you.

If you would like to just hang out for a few hours and show support, that too is wonderful. Last year we had a wonderful time spending some quality time together, we definitely felt the love.

WHY I WALK 

Thank you for helping me reach my Walk to Defeat ALS® fundraising goal! The Walk to Defeat ALS® is very important to me, as it raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find effective treatments and cures.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure. 

A person with ALS becomes physically locked-in as the disease progressively paralyzes the body. The key to UNLOCK ALS begins with us.
