Hi, I’m Ginger Armistead.

I am participating in the Hawaii Walk to Defeat ALS. I’m trying to do everything I can to make my impact on this disease. I have a very personal reason to walk and raise money - I am walking in honor of my husband Mike "Moose". June 28, 2019 is the day he was diagnosed with ALS. It was not the diagnosis we wanted but the one we were given.

 Will you join the movement dedicated to unlocking the mysteries of one of the world’s most complex neurological diseases that can strike anyone at any time? Neurological disease is everyone’s issue. Since the diagnosis we are focusing on what we can do; not what we can't. He can build a gate, go on vacation, fix the water heater, plant a flower bed and much more. " The stressors of ALS come and go but mostly they come", a wise woman of the ALS Network told me.  Only together we will cure ALS. Nothing can stop us from being together. Will you join me?
