I am taking action as a part of the ALS Network’s Napa Valley Ride, Walk & Roll to Cure ALS to raise money and awareness to support people living with ALS today and those diagnosed in the future. Together we are making a difference in the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease.
Message from my colleague and very dear friend Karen Sutton:
The day I heard the words, “you have ALS” changed my life forever! Now, 2.5 years later, I still live independently with support but daily challenges have become more prevalent.
Leaving my beloved career was heartbreaking, as it marked the beginning of my physical self, losing to ALS. Despite the challenges, I’m determined to stay optimistic and make the most of every moment.
I remain hopeful and appreciate your dedication towards helping to find livable treatments and a cure for ALS. It brings light to the darkness and inspires those in the community to stay strong.

What is ALS?
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, ALS is a progressive, fatal neurodegenerative disease that slowly robs a person of their ability to walk, speak, swallow, and, eventually, to breathe.
Why We Urgently Need Your Help
Every 90 minutes, a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS, and every 90 minutes, another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
