Parking
Be aware that John F. Kennedy Dr. is closed. However, Martin Luther King Jr Dr. will be open to access parking around Stow Lake on Stow Lake Dr. Our event site is a short walk from there! Please be sure to not leave any valuables in your car.
Event-Day Schedule
8:00 AM PDT - 8:50 AM PDT: Event-Day Bib Pick-up & Check-In
For all registered participants, please arrive between 8 AM PDT and 8:50 AM PDT to check in and receive your bib and fundraising incentive items (if earned). To do so, proceed to the Check-in tent.
8:00 AM PDT - 8:50 AM PDT: Event-Day Registration
Please note that the last day to register online is Saturday, April 27. If any friends or family want to join you at the Jim Tracy 5K Walk & Roll to Cure ALS and do not register online before Saturday, April 27, day-of registration will be available for $55-$60. Please ask that they come to our Day-Of Registration tent and register with our wonderful volunteers between 8 AM PDT and 8:50 AM PDT.
8:50 AM PDT: Start Line Opening Ceremony
Join us at the start line for some inspirational welcomes from our Jim Tracy 5K community and leadership.
9:00 AM PDT: Route Start (5K run / walk & 1 mile walk)
Please click here to see the route maps for our timed 5K run / walk and our 1 mile walk. The routes will start together at 9 AM PDT. The 5K run / walk is on concrete and contains one larger incline on Conservatory Drive E., but otherwise consists of rolling hills and flat surfaces. The 1 mile walk is flat.
10:00 AM PDT: Awards Ceremony
Be sure to stick around for our Awards Ceremony! We will announce the 5K winners, pass out medals and prizes, and have a few inspiring speakers sharing the impact YOU are making for our ALS community. This is something you won’t want to miss.
What To Bring
In an effort to reduce waste, we will have water filling stations at the Jim Tracy 5K. Please bring your water bottle to help us in this effort. If you have any check or cash donations, please bring them with you to give to an event staff person at check-in.

Assumption of Risk
By participating with others in support of the Jim Tracy 5K Walk and Roll to Cure ALS, you expressly agree to comply with any and all rules and safety guidelines put in place by local authorities, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.
